About Us

Bunmahon Surf School was established during the summer 2010. We are fully insured and are an approved Irish Surfing Association school. Tadhg Buckley who runs it has been surfing in Bunmahon since the age of 13. He has 18 years experience in teaching beginners how to surf, and his qualifications include the level 1 surf coaching course and surf coaching beach safety award. Previously, he has been head coach in a surf school in Tramore and started surf coaching at the age of 17. His love of the sport has brought him all over the world surfing during the off season. Here in Bunmahon Surf School our aim is to pass on our knowledge of the exciting, adrenaline fueled sport of surfing to every one else in a safe and friendly environment.
